More on Networking

by Junior E. Crank September 27, 2009

Today I had the pleasure of visiting Moolanomy.Com and read through some articles written by Tom Drake about Networking. He is writing about people networking, public speaking and further enhancing ones career. Rather interesting the way he referenced things like the Toastmasters Clubs and  the Chamber of Commerece. These where really eye catching because they are two of the best around when it comes to networking with people. Social Networking cannot be compaired to the two; but never the less Social Networking is on the move for people interaction and is a great way to advertise your self.

One of the things Tom mentioned and I consider a very important factor in his article is speeking. Don’t just pass out Business Cards! should you decide to attend speeking events, Career advancement events, be prepared to deliver a short 20-30 second speech  during interductions. These little actions can move you a long your way during your drive to advancement. It’s called getting the word out.

While your looking, blog on over to Moolanomy.Com and read some of the articles.

17I was asked to pass this on, and I will gladly do so. Will you??? 16The only thing harder than being a Soldier....Is loving one. 15....to be forgiving when someone says how hard it is to have a new baby in the house. 14....to just walk away when someone says they only get two weeks of vacation a year. 13....to be civil to people who complain about their jobs. 12....to remain calm when his daughter complains about having to walk the dog. 11....to control his frustration when a colleague gripes about his coffee being cold. 9....to keep from laughing when anxious parents say they're afraid to send their kids off to summer camp.
